While going through my feed reader, I came across this little joy.  Apparently, an old school Legend of Zelda fan (and who isn’t a fan??) made an absolutely epic film recreating The Legend of Zelda, and thusly dubbed, “The Hero of Time.”

I can’t believe I missed seeing this earlier, because the Almighty Nintendo shut them down.  They were however, kind enough to let the world see it before the end of 2009, but unfortunately for those of us who haven’t had the chance to view it in all of it’s glory, it’s been removed from the legal interwebs.

Please note that I said the “legal” interwebs.  If you’re desperate, and willing to take the risks associated with illegal torrenting, I’m sure your favorite torrent sites will have it available.  Also, I do not condone piracy in any form.  Just saying.

That is a big bag full of suck, Nintendo.  While we respect your interest in preserving your characters rights, this movie should not have been removed from the public view.  Are you going to shut down all videos of people playing LoZ songs on their Carrot Ocarina, or dressing up like Link and running around with sound effects?  Let’s be fair, give us the good reenactments, and we’ll even keep the sucky ones.

  1. Hi there, nice site with good info. I really like coming back here often. There’s only one thing that annoys me and that is the misfunctioning of comment posting. I usually get to 500 error page, and have to do the post twice.

  2. Thanks for the great information, I really love to spend time here going through these posts
